The Streaming Giant Chooses Spot-On Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3

Netflix announced this week that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bon Clay. Escola, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that character reimagined as gender non-binary, instead of as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, unlike the initial comic and cartoon version.

This performer is joined by a number of recently announced actors tasked with bringing the group to life, featuring chief Sir Crocodile, played by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and a familiar face, who is also part of the cast as the monarch of the desert kingdom.

Though this character is a key figure of the group, the persona will be introduced in One Piece the upcoming installment.
