The Maduros were then flown via official aircraft to Stewart Air National Guard Base in New York, and then via helicopter into New York City.

Facing The Legal System in American Soil

That same day, a video emerged depicting the detainee at the federal drug agency's main office in New York.

The couple are presently detained in a detention centre in the city.

They have been charged with conspiracy to commit narco-terrorism and import cocaine, owning machine guns and destructive devices, and plots to acquire machine guns and bombs to use against America.
